Germany offers a variety of exceptional landscapes, and every year thousands of visitors flock here to discover beautiful nature reserves, vibrant cities, the wilds of the Black Forest, incredible art and architecture, the ever changing culture – and of course, beer.  The major metropolises of Munich, Hamburg and Berlin are home to a mix of cosmopolitan life, a vibrant social scene and nightlife, and a wealth of culture – and with a warm welcome from the friendly German citizens (many of whom speak excellent English) it’s an incredibly accessible country for English visitors. In winter time things get truly festive and the seductive smell of Glühwein and gingerbread tempt you as you explore the fabulous Christmas markets packed with traditional crafts, ornaments and gifts accompanied by a sweet soundtrack of carol singers.  Christmas markets are one of the highlights of the year.
